Your response is very good. However, I dont think the problem is that easy. Ever play risk, no matter how strong you are, there is a big world out there and your resources can only go so far. I agree that Russia probably wouldn't go Nuke over this. I would rather have them as a friend than as a Foe. Don't assume were the only country that could feed and cloth Russia. Where benefiting as a nation from exporting.

Take Oil as an example. We could use our own, but I feel that we import to save reserves here in the event we may need them. Before you respond to this, I am very aware why we aren't pumping now, cost. But in the event we need for defense, in todays age of War, ships are useless.
