NETWORK APPLIANCE CORP filed Wednesday with the SEC a
registration to sell up to 2.5 mln common shares. The company
granted the underwriters an overallotment option to purchase up to
375,000 additional common shares. The offering will be made
through Lehman Brothers, BT Alex. Brown, Merrill Lynch & Co., Wit
Capital Corp. as e-manager. After the offering, outstanding common
will total 71.9 mln shares. Net proceeds will be used for working
capital and general corporate purposes. (Reuters 08:41 PM ET 03/24/99)
