I can't wait til the coming shock blows you right out of this stock

I missed this part of the thread - which 'coming shock' are you talking about? The XCIT deal? General market considerations? The split?

I am being serious.

re: Speculators begone

You are wrong about this. I have seen this time and time again, on other threads, you better get used to it and be thankful it is happening, for ATHM is becoming a commercial success, with it, will come less the technical minded and less experience investors that will drive your shares that you have held through thick and thin, higher. The evolution of a thread is always the technical minded find out first, you get a pop from the early savvy investors, then comes the realization that it will take longer then you thought and more money to build this wonderful idea into a real company, or the technology needs work, you might get a pop out the price when they start doing trials or do some deals. Then the stock will sit. Then come the investors like me and Rocketman plus others, who have been watching, who know that your baby has something great, but realize it times has not come yet, come to the conclution the time is now to invest and do so, knowing the horde will be here soon. The horde is trickling in, bask in it, we should see more of them if ATHM's management delivers. Not only is your patients going to be reward, it should be used to educate the less informed, even the Great Ah see this. <gg>

This used to be a great thread with very informative posts about the broadband market. Now it is just a place for cheerleaders and gamblers to hang out and hold each others hands. You don't want to hear anything but rosy predictions because as I stated before you are just a scared and uninformed gambler who knows next to nothing about ATHM and the entire broadband industry.

Ainsworth, I am so sorry that ATHM has become a popular stock and this thread has attracted cheerleaders and gamblers. I am sure you would be much happier if you invested in stocks that would remain unpopular in the long run so that us scared, uninformed investors would let you carry on your brilliant conversations about technology with your friends.

Then us gamblers could make money, have fun, and you could do whatever it is you do.
