So that's what makes hole #6 exciting? It mineralizes at a shallow depth.

I just did some back-of the envelope calculation based on what I know of offshore hydrothermal vents and a little basic physics. If any of my assumptions are wrong, let me know.

1. Assume a layer of gold-bearing rock, 50M thick, 2 grams/ton (from assay numbers) average.

2. Based on what I know about vents, assume region is 500M by 500M.

That's 1.25*10^7 M^3 of gold-bearing rock.

Denisty of rock is about 5 grams/cc, so weight of rock is

about 6*10^10 Kgm = 1.2*10^8 Tons

28 grams in an ounce ----> 10^7 ounces of gold.

Profit of 5$/ounce ---- 50 Million dollars

50 Million shares-----> 1$/share

--------------------------------------------
The obvious unknowns are the lateral extent of the gold-bearing area and its average thickness.

With 91 M of Overburden the grades had better improve significantly better than presented to date or it's "no go"!
