Hi Colon. Are you familiar with ESOPs?

I knew last fall that I would have a long-term taxable loss for '98, so I exercised a few company stock options (for a profit) with the idea to offset the capital loss.

Now, my accountant tells me that I cannot use this to offset my capital loss. Is that true?

thanks for any thoughts.

Thanks Colin. What is the definition of a trader? I trade about 75 times a year. I have a full time job. Am I a investor or a trader?

Regards!

Peter

I have a ? about brokers...I want to open an account with Yamner, but they are not registered with NASD for my state of residence Nevada...what does this mean? Can I still open an account with them? Would anything happen? Thanks a ton in advance. Best of luck, Where'd He Go?
