Short Warning....

"As a side note, anybody considering a short position right now needs to seriously reevaluate. Shorting stocks like this that are currently enjoying serious momentum is inherently dangerous IMO. If you've got the balls then great, but don't be surprised if you end up on the street because you acted too impulsively. Seen it happen before many times over."

Jack, --BID.COM revenue in 1998 I think was $20.1 million, their CEO said months ago he is hoping for $50 million in 1999, some Internet pros think $80 million.?? All these predictions were before this new Internet Auction Picture to Picture and live audio stuff so maybe now there revenue combined with the rest, may reach much higher and give BID.COM a big boost in 1999.???

~ I won't speculate on BII's NASDAQ performance as I think that would be premature at present, but the large float is going to hold us back from valuations similar to those of iVillage, uBid etc. These stocks have much smaller floats and doesn't take much to cause a $20 or $30 pop in a day on just a little buying pressure ~

Jack,

Dont kid yourself: If you have the volume, a fast market, Shorts getting squeezed, Big blocks being sucked up by elephants and longs who sit on their shares because they are sh#ting their pants in awe, well, IMO (I have said before) until the US can daytrade BII, we have not seen nothing yet.
