Ahhaha- You refreshed my memory. It will take some time for me to digest it all, however. I sit at the top of the Bell Curve.

All very good points. But the news release is not fresh, and was out during market hours. I know at time there is a delay, but ATHM is not some fly by night company driven higher by techno crazed investors that are investing in anythinghot.com. ATHM represents the future of the NET and until management lets us down, will continue higher. Sure ATHM could become a house of cards someday, but not this soon, too early in the game. But you are right and not far off in saying that ATHM could drop 20 points the other day. The jump to 150 was a blow-off top of sorts. If you are right I see ATHM going down to it's trend line at around 120 or so then resuming the upward trend that was started in DEC of last year. So 120 should be an excellent buying point if ATHM does in fact recover at that range.

By the way thanks for your time and effort put in

Greg

Ahhaha, I've read all the posts and enjoy yours the most.

The incestuous ownership of the cable companies disguises the fact that they are king.

The last mile to our homes is key.

The infrastructure of @Home and Roadrunner has minimally begun.

Also, the Telephone companies have minimally invested in rolling out ADSL.

The heavy investment was held back (consciously or unconsciously)to see if the Internet was for real and which technology was best.

Telephone over Internet or telephone over telephone and all the infrastructure dollars that represents, might lead one to believe that the Telephone and Cable companies will not get engaged, but in fact will be getting married because of the last mile.

The dollars of revenue at stake from ownership of the last mile are so huge that anything is possible, including the renaming of @Home something else.

It would seem that ownership or cable stocks might just be a win win, irrespective of how it all eventually turns out.

Ahhaha, Can or would the FCC allow the potential mergers above to happen?
