He's right...its a non-event, but many a non-event can throw a stock like this short term.
About the merger between @Home and Road Runner, they have decided to NOT TO DECIDE. There is a world of difference between that and deciding that it will never happen.

>>@Home is steamrolling over everyone and everything in its path. I wish RR would go public <<

Beside the fact that they (RR) currently lack a head (thus no one to plan or bargain a merger with) this is the biggest problem with Road Runner....they aren't a public company. How do you attract attention in the market place as well as technical community (these guys are lured with options)without stock or talk of an offering. For every mention of Road Runner in the press or on these boards....there's a thousand mentions for @Home. If Ah is right and Comcast HAS effectively decided to go on without @Home....they have made a huge mistake. More than likely they are keeping it as an option to be able to bargain a better deal. Things can change very rapidly, perhaps they are hedging their bets and planning a move. Their "Analyst Presentation" on their website (Comcast's) seemed to want to point out how BIG they are with MediaOne.

Being in a Comcast area I've always been a little taken aback at how few people were aware that when they were being offered cable internet service from Comcast, that it was a joint offering from Comcast and @Home.

I told everyone when I bought this stock soon after the IPO that my stake was either going to 5 million or zero... and nothing in between!
