<<MRV, the water torture stock, drip, drip, drip.;-) >>

Regis, you sure have got that right. This is the most frustrating stock I can remember owning, although SHVA, MADGF, FORE, ASND, BAY, COMS, ORCL all had their "hell hole" periods that lasted months - months that also seemed like water torture, with absolutely no movement or interest shown.

I remember Jeff Forrest came on the ASND thread in November 1997 and said ASND was "dead" and "would never again have a multi-point move" - this just 1 month before the stock began it's big rise. I laughed at him then, and subsequent events have proven me right.

I bought all of those low 2 years ago and made good money on all of them within 6-9 months. I'm especially proud of buying FORE at $10 the day they pre-announced, then selling it in late Summer '97 at $20+. MADGF I bought at $5, sold at $9, ASND at $22, sold too low - exiting the last portion near $60. SHVA, I rode from $8 to $15. Also COMS $33-$54, ORCL $34-$55. BAY $15-$36.

All these in 1997-98 and in under 1 year, and in each my investment was dead in the water for a while that seemed forever - until you look back and see the results. Any time you can double within a year, I think it's worth it. I'm looking for MRVC to do better than that (when exactly I don't know).

MRVC is taking longer, but I remain convinced it will ultimately make the same type move.
