A young person like myself could not ask
for a better environment in which to be
accumulating shares-- especially in the so-
called platform or technology companies.
But if I were 20 years older like Rick,
I suppose I'd be getting a little pissed
off about now;-) How long can this go on?!

Discussions like the gene-patent subthread
over on the Incyte forum can make things a
bit confusing and intimidating, but I should
think ten stocks in this sector spread out
between chemistry companies, genomics database
companies, and a smattering of niche players
--for instance neuros like the ones I own, should
do the trick.

Time is the big stinker in the equation
though isn't it. A few of these guys are running
out of it. Geeze, I tell you, a micro cap otc:bb
stock like NTII is a great example of a fellow who
is cutting it just as close as he can. Great post
over there by Castro by the way. Whew! I'm sure
it will be great fun though when we come out the
other side of this tunnel.

Oh, I'm now down 10% for the year, eeek. If I'm
down 30% later this year I won't know whether to
write checks and buy a lot more, or freak out and run
from this sector.
