nihil, technology can be very effective. It can also give a false sense of superiority. NATO will not be able to take out all SAM sites as some are mobile. Radar sites can be taken out by HARM missiles but only when turned on or by positions being located. AAA can get a luck shot and the terrain forces strikes from limited directions so they can use terrain to protect positions. Laser guided bombs force fighter/bomber aircraft over the target area and make them target from ground fire. Stand-off weapons work well but force the cost up and sooner or later we have to fly over the targets. We need to get the job done then get out before they can change tactics to improve their defense. Pat
