I totally agree with you: NATO should remain a defence-minded enterprise... And currently, as I showed it in my previous replies to Ron and Derek, the #1 threat to Europe lies in its own rampant jingoism! Just read my post #440 on this thread which includes a sharp analysis by Prof. Prabhat Patnaik, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Therefore, NATO has to defend Europe against its own fascistic tropism! NATO's Chief of Staff Gen. Clarke is currently Europe's Top Medecine Man... And what happened last night over Serbia was nothing more than a First-Aid Airdrop.
