Ed. Of your many fine posts I consider that the finest. And dead on accurate. Well said. Fortunately, converse events ( to biotech like fervors) also often hold true in the market ( and offer rare opportunities).... for instance the drug companies hammered down over health care legislation fears around 6 years ago. The banks at historic lows over plummeting real estate value fears... I guess that was around 8 years ago (about that time Warren Buffet stepped in and bought a tremendous amount of Wells Fargo). Hope Ampex catches a wave someday.They have the panache now to pull it off.
