I'm betting we don't see a tank right out of the gate. Look at how long we traded at 52+ today -- most of the day. Plenty of time for everybody to get short. The only real deviation from 52 was the breathtaking swoon to 50 1/2 and back up, but it was all done in about a half hour. Hardly enough time to call your broker and go short if you weren't already. Would "They" give the shorts almost an entire day to go short, for it to pay off immediately on a nice slide first thing in the morning, without at least making them sweat a few points? 54 or 55 early tomorrow would panic a lot of shorts.
