Frank,

AOL will probably shoot up again in anticipation of earnings and
split annoucements. As for DELL, day-to-day price movements are fun to watch during the earnings runup. :-)

Frank: It seems like a lot of momentum investors that used to have A LOT of their money in DELL have rotated A LOT of the funds into AOL. Recently this has worked quite well for them. There is nothing wrong with AOL -- I own the stock (it is my #3 position after DELL and CMGI). Yet, I feel that AOL is quite richly valued and with its current P/E it MUST continue to deliver a STELLAR performance. If valuations are questioned or numbers are missed, watch out below. IMHO, if DELL can put the growth concerns to bed in the next 6-8 weeks, they will be viewed differently. We already have some large funds and "value investors" who are starting to acquire more DELL. We haven't seen a lot of bad news out of DELL. On the contrary, the bad news comes from the competitors (eg. CPQ, IBM, HWP, etc..) and from the ANALysts and media pundits. Soon enough the truth will be revealed. If some of us are correct and DELL exceeds expectations, the momentum will be re-ignited and we'll cruise back up to new highs.

Just my views.

I'm Long on DELL for the LONG RUN.

Regards,

Scott
