A good read from the Yahoo board: messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

In the context of our respective option positions, tne comment that struck me was: "...our much maligned CEO is using his bankers properly - as a deliberate wedge to slow down the process. Advantage: VLSI (and a whole mess of bankers,..."

The comment is (1) likely true and (2) good for vlsi - and ultimately us - but (3) counter to our own natural desires for a quick hit before our April options expire.

So, with that in mind... VLSI LEAPS = more modest time & volatility premium than other companies at this time = insurance at relatively low cost. April options = very modest premium but rapid premium erosion for out of money positions.

My own strategy... Consider April 20s a write off (unless they aren't in the next couple of days) and add to July 20s (or take new position with October 20s).
