There was a guy I read about a few years ago who had a following in opposition to Milosevic, and there were riots after a government crackdown on dissent more recently, but I am not up to speed on internal Serbian politics, and therefore don't no the state of mind of the populace. The Serbs are notoriously chauvinistic, but there has been unsettlement for about a decade, and countries who have focussed on economic reform, like Poland, are beginning to show results. I would not be surprised if a desire for normality finally defeats Serbian adventurism.
