IMO IBM qill be outsourcing at least some PC manufacturing to DELL
Do you think the timing of any announcement is linked to the report that Dell is building a new manufacturing plant. It seems like the last plant they built took about 9 months to complete. Maybe we will hear more on the subject toward the end of the year.

Robert, WSJ said IBM said PC business was profitable in the 4th quarter.

This is not surprising. Q4 is typically the best quarter because many companies are spending end of year budgets and consumer demand is at its strongest in Q4.
