ONEM has been priced at $22 and the offering has been bumped up to 8,500,000 shares. Bob Dole was named as a Board member yesterday. At the IPO price, each of their customers is being valued at approximately $1,400. Other public ISPs are being valued in a range of $2,000-3,200. The pro forma 1998 numbers include goodwill amortization expense of approximately $70.0 MM; they will be writing off over $200.0 MM in goodwill over a three year period. Steve Smith, the CEO, is scheduled to appear on Power Lunch today.

Kim,

VVTV is one which may continue its rise though the next time. Possible target can be well over $20. More, if the daytraders catch it.

C.

Kimberly, interesting that while briefing.com is speculating on ONEM being a harbinger of a correction in net IPO's, BTAB has upped price to $22 per Glenn's post (from 18-20 range stated here)...

I guess they are not too worried about a correction at this point... from what you've posted here, looks like 150-300% increase is not unreasonable based on P/S of competition.

FYI I spoke with John Costello, editor of Computer World, parent of IDG's Network World Today. He told me last night that they have been inundated with calls after yesterday's article on FORE buyout... I will be holding my shares and watching closely. I increased my position slightly yesterday.
