Another contract: Qwest Awarded Multimillion-dollar Contract From Delta Airlines for Data Communications Services DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 25, 1999--Qwest Communications International Inc. today announced it has been awarded a three-year, multimillion-dollar communications contract from Delta Airlines. Under the agreement, Qwest will initially deploy ATM and frame relay connectivity among 27 of Delta's airport locations throughout the United States. Qwest's ATM and frame relay solutions will provide Delta with a high performance, low-cost data communications network to help support automated services, such as passenger check-in and boarding, credit card verification, baggage management and communications integration. Delta also receives a scalable, customized and highly reliable service to meet the individual requirements of each airport location.
