G'day G&Kers. It looks like a potential record setting day for the Index. I'm looking for msft to lead the charge by taking out it's old high of 175 15/16 set on 2/1/99. News about negotiations for a settlement of the doj case, along with Friday's split could easily propel it to new highs. I'm curious about cpq; the support level at 30 seems inpenetrable, and the rumors about channel stuffing and an earnings warning seem to have little impact. Can anyone bring me up to date on Compaq's short term outlook? Frank
