A Spam worth noting by Nutstoo from JAWS board on Yahoo:

"Have you ever heard of deathspiral debentures???
Its what investors out of Canada use to destroy fledgling American companies. Heres how it works. They
offer the CEO of small american companies(usually BBs) a loan(debenture) at a very low interest rate and tell
the CEO they believe so much in the company that they want to be able to convert their loan into stock. Once
the CEO accepts, they start to "naked short" the stock driving it into the pennies. (in naked shorting they
simply do not deliver the shares into DTC) They convert their loan into multi million of shares. The CEO,
usually the founder, loses his company and the small investor is raped from the dilution.
There are literally hundreds of examples where this "evil empire" has used this technique to sink companies.
They tried the same trick on JAWS. But, before they could convert, one investor stepped up and using a
clause in the agreement cancelled the debenture with cash.
The short position has been calculated from official information at a minimum of 7.2 million shares. It probably
is much higher. The float is 8 million. Investors on the yahoo board have pulled almost 5 million certificates.
The estimate is that less than 1 million certificates are left in DTC. A massive short squeeze is about to
happen.
The stock was recently rated a "strong buy" on fundamentals by Tom Heysek author of STREETSMART
