Joan, I like DSI better and it has performed better in the past. GIM has lower fees, but has been a little too eager to go with the crowd, which is bad for stocks, but deadly for fixed income performance. So, I had a similar choice a while back and chose DSI. I would do the same today, though I think there is a price at which I'd switch to GIM.

Chile hasn't been half bad lately. Especially considering other markets.

Many people forget, because Micron Tech got all the publicity, but BR was the other stock that got Vinicked in a Barron's interview a few years back. (He was selling it while bulling it in the mag.) this is a terrific co., but I don't believe in this oil rally and think the stock is ahead of itself. And I trust Merrill Lynch as far as I can throw their headquarters skyscraper. <g>
