ESPN and Princeton Video Image Team Up to
Provide Virtual Advertising for Major League
Baseball's Opening Day Game On April 4

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1999--Princeton Video Image,
Inc. (NASDAQ: PVII - news; www.pvimage.com), the global leader in virtual advertising solutions for television, and
ESPN, the worldwide leader in sports, in cooperation with Major League Baseball have announced that PVI will
provide virtual advertising services in this year's Major League Baseball opening day game between the Colorado
Rockies and the National League Champion San Diego Padres.

The game will be televised on ESPN from El Stadio de Monterey in Monterey, Mexico, on Sunday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m.
EST. National advertisers planning to air virtual ads during the game include AT&T, Oracle, MasterCard, Tecate and
New Era.
