While not particularly desirous of injecting myself into the radioactive dust cloud that seems to be floating like a thick green miasma over this thread, I will interject that it may be best for all parties concerned to simply agree tacitly not to speak of it anymore. I do not direct this to you but to everyone. On the part of your antagonists, this would mean patiently exercising some restraint in flinging the occasional barb your way, despite the "itch" to do so. And on your part, in the event of such a transgression, perhaps a bit of fortitude in not indulging in extended attempts at refutation, which will probably only precipitate a continued dialogue of vitriol. As rather a graybearded eminence grise of this thread, I have seen several of these sorts of tediously drawn out altercations, and they tend to roll on and on like some sort of infernal perpetual motion machine until all parties slink grumblingly back to their caves and stop waving their cudgels at each other. And I ask all parties, yourself and your foes, to resist the occasional rude gesticulation by the other side and let this whole thing die a merciful and longed-for death. TCW
