Was that news from IBM good news? How come when I tell my wife that I lost $200 at the casino, I end up sleeping on the couch? I wonder where I would be sleeping if I lost 1 billion.

"Well, part of our core business is crippled, but we should see a rise in other operations, such as coffee delivery and gourmet finger sandwiches," Jim Iverson, VP of Corporate relations of IBM was quoted. "Eventually we plan to move out of the PC arena and move into the highly lucrative world of tire retreading."

I think that aol deal should gross them about 6 cents a year..given the p/e, we should see a 30 point spike in the stock on the news. How come my investments don't return 500x in a week?
