Building a customer base and building brand is a whole lot more difficult than just setting up another server down the street. Sure, barriers to just having a website are very low. The fact is, GNET has properties that have strong technology (Metacrawler, Playsite) and have loyal and growing customer bases (SI, Hypermart) because they offer a great service that is very difficult to beat.

Paul Allen's investment means that GNET will be central to his broadband strategy. That is worth an enormous amount. I've been long this stock because I have believed in their business strategy and their management team since $7 pre-split. It's tiring to see someone jump on the thread with poorly reasoned, flip attempts to build short interest. Start a thread with Auric, why don't you?
