Webb -- Date:1999-03-24 19:47:16 Subject: Winspear News Release All: Following the claims made last weekend after I posted an article here, on Monday I asked that the log be checked to see when Winspear's corporate restructuring release was received by Canada Stockwatch. The release was received at 4:08 p.m. Friday, March 12. John Woods has contacted Winspear directly regarding this matter. Canada Stockwatch's guarantee to companies is that releases received by 3:00 p.m. will be processed that day. In practice, releases received before 4:00 p.m. are usually distributed that day. Guarantees and usual practice aside, Mr. Woods has indicated that there was no excuse for not processing Winspear's release on Friday, March 12. Lee
