Tokyo Joe's pick GRIN new website grandopening. Stock is climbing now, check it out. Grand Toys International Announces Activation of Corporate Website MONTREAL, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Grand Toys International, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRIN) today announced that its corporate website is now up and running at http:\\www.grand.com. The site, designed to support the Company's Canadian wholesale distribution customers, profiles Grand's full product line. "For the first time, our full product portfolio is now showcased on the Internet, expanding our services to our distribution customers by allowing them to easily examine our product line for the upcoming selling season," said Grand's Chairman, Stephen Altro. "We are currently investigating the feasibility of selling certain products over the Internet, although we have not set a timetable for a decision to add e-commerce to our website." Mr. Altro continued, "Future sales over the Internet would most likely be initiated with specialty offerings from Ark's line of soft foam oversized puzzle toys, as well as parts of the Majorette and Solido lines of collectible die-cast metal toy vehicles. We recently secured the exclusive North American distribution rights to Solido, an affiliate of Majorette, which added to Grand's growing portfolio of proprietary and distributed children's products. The Majorette and Solido products currently have limited distribution in North American collector markets. We believe that the collector market provides a large base of customers that Grand could best reach over the Internet." Mr. Altro added, "Our strategy is to transform Grand Toys into a diversified manufacturer and marketer of consumer products for children throughout North America. We believe our recent acquisitions as well as our new website demonstrate our commitment to this strategy." Founded in 1960, Grand Toys International, Inc. is a premier distributor of a wide variety of toys and ancillary items in Canada including FURBY and WCW Wrestling figures and, since January 1, 1999, a manufacturer and distributor of toys, puzzles and ancillary items in the United States.
