Micheal, Thanks for another excellent explanation about CEF preferreds. Is it the likelihood of short-term interest rate increases that makes you recommend them only for the long term (5+ years)? To follow up on your short-term idea, what kinds of income vehicles should we look for that are safe? The reason I ask is that I have heard people suggest that many money market funds are at higher-than-expected risk, such as the ones you broker wants you to keep your money in. Thanks, /Kit
