I actually plug Linda Raschke's book everyday at the end of my interactive discussion section...by the way you can get free transcripts of her pay per view site at the end of each day free at mtrader.com The problem with people is that they should pick a method and stick to it...I mean how many people have the guts to do a turtle plus one? They just don't have the confidence because it's not their method. The doubt in their own minds is what causes the hesitation. Any many times, just when the market looks the best, it's time for a turn and vice versa. As for gold, I remember watching it on TV when I was a teenager, all the folks lined up around the local bank before it opened to buy bullion...and that made a huge impression on me back then...and then I had the "luck" to work in the top brokerage houses in Vancouver for some big names in mining finance...and basically traded gold all the way from the beginning of my career until it all but died last year in terms of liquidity and volatility When I traded gold stocks, I would trade the Barricks and Placer Domes...but this time, if the bullion pulls the Turtle Soup or T+1, I'll just buy a bunch of Comex gold futures and call it a day. In the old days I would trade the discovery plays but there hasn't been anything exciting since Cross Lake CRN.V and that was a couple of years ago. And I agree with you that the $175 is the best investment ever!
