In hypergrowth mkts it is almost impossible to pick the first tier stocks out of the gate. It is entirely possible that GNET is a first tier stock (you may have meant to say that with your post - if so I am agreeing with you).

Last year I bought Doubleclick under the assumption that it was a second tier based on price only (Dclk didn't go up last year). I also had some inkt for a time that was percieved as first tier. This year those two stocks have traded places in the internet hierarchy. Something might be happening to amazon too, in terms of leadership.
