Hitler ... are you joking? Milosevic is responding to a terrorist threat within his own borders. You need to read past Clinton's speeches and CNN. If NATO is so concerned about Albanians in Kosovo why don't they offer them asymlum in the U.S. ? The KLA are trying to separate Kosovo from Yugoslavia and create a greater Albania. The land of Kosovo has been Serbian for centuries.

And how welcome would US troops be in 1934 at a time when we were still perceived as being imperialist? What would be the diplomatic ramifications? And how supported at home in the middle of a depression? C'mon, think this through, we got in at exactly the right time. Even in retrospect, we couldn't have done it any differently as far as military. (FDR knew about the camps, but did not allow Jews to immigrate during the depression...obviously this was a mistake but not a military one.)
