I really don't understand what is IBM doing these days. $17B deal with DELL, $3B deal with EMC.... I see the reasons are either for LG to polish his achievements during his tenure and somehow keep the stock price floating during his final years at IBM before his exit, OR IBM is really desparate to generate revenues to show the Street. I see these moves are very very dangerous. IBM will lose its fundamentals and advantages eventually, the stock price will clamps after LG leaves and in the end, IBM will be a solely service company like Digital, posing itself for sale..

Does anyone have any information about a stock split? I thought they IBM was having one but I don't recall when.
