I think GV is subconciously trying to reconcile why there are (for example) companies with earnings of $252.30M and market cap over $110b whereas Intel has a market cap of less than $200b but earnings of $6068.00M.

I mean he should just get over it. There are somethings you just can't explain.

The theory that earnings and earnings growth "explain" or "justify" P/E's and market cap's is pretty weird. There has to be something else, or stock in companies like AMD would be free!
