Don, thanks for your message. I should have sent my post to OJ by private mail ... something I never think about using. I, like most others, totally agree that everyone who spends so much time on putting together their thoughts and posts should be thanked and congratulated ... (though personally I've not been reading the thread much these last couple of weeks or so due to other commitments). Now .... I don't want to start any controversy ... but .... going on to one of your other points, I do find it very useful to know if someone who is expressing an opinion is actually trading off it. For instance, you often stipulate whether you think a bounce or drop is one you are going to play (or not). Similarly, I also like posts where people, for instance, state they are staying all cash for a period of time. Its just a personal preference. I liked Bear Kings last post where he tells Vitas he kept his shorts and rode out yesterday based upon an SPX gap not getting filled. I never regarded these posts as being proof of anything, but it does provide (me, personally) with a better insight of the strength behind the opinions that are stated aswell as a time reference (which is often less easy to express due to the nature of TA). However er.... my only reference in my post to people stating their trades was explaining to LG that it was the reason for making the congrats call to OJ in the first place ... nothing more, nothing less. Personally I would never state my specific trades ... and OJ did it with such a number of stocks it had to be regarded as a market call rather than an individual call. I like to trade short-term, so your analysis is perfect for me. Now, again, all this is just my preference .... which would never have been posted except to explain to you where my post was coming from ... ... and I am wondering if I should have sent this via private mail ... ah well .... I guess I'll live dangerously ... just like the market (GG). Thanks & Regards Stephen
