Was that Tice this morning on CNBC? I only caught a bit of it and the individual was identified as being with the Prudent Bear Fund. He was forecasting Dow 6000 this year.

Yes BT and UBS took big losses. There are large segments of both firms that are essentially hedge funds. There were a few other big banks that took sizeable hits. But when you tally up the numbers LTCM and some of the other big name hedge funds took even bigger hits. And when you look at the losses in relation to capital there is no comparison.
