We should be getting an update from the Pocone Gold production. The plant was breaking even in August of 1998 and was only working at 1/3 capacity. This was to be upgraded immediately to full production. So, the plant should have been operating at a profit for the past six months. There was also negotiations underway for the addition of further stockpiles of ore.

If you have the time that J Nelson has had and the willingness to verify things, you might want to try the Public utilities commissions in Arizona, Nevada and California to verify if NPEC/Metroplus communications is offering service in those states. I think those are the states that were mentioned as possible expansion areas in an earlier post here or Raging Bull. Then let your own curiosity carry you where it may. Due Diligence is only a euphamism for RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH. By the way, in the early days of the original thread, all of us involved would collaborate on where to research and share ideas. That is why even the oldtimers like me are still around, though a little testy at times, the DD that was done two years ago is STILL valid and hasn't changed substantially, except for the relationship with MDIN and possible gas operations in Venezuela...which we have had NO news about for nearly two years other than there is/was a lawsuit initiated by NPEC. I may stand corrected on part of that. JW
