Jack -sorry for not responding earlier-had to get car fixed!
Anyway my comments:
Glad to get your imput-very good post/and info.
Have been trying to get people to realize that PGD 'is' another
Sutton for a while now ( ARP thread and this thread).
Have been frustrated that little interest is shown in this idea,
especially the lackluster performance of PGD with the excellent
results they have had in Tanzania and all thier other valuable properities.
The brokers I know following the company (and for that matter PGD itself) don't seem to care .
My broker tells me that PGD seems to make little efforts to promote THEIR company. Other little mining companies (eg NWI etc) seem to ramp up on little news and PGD(& MDN) sits there. NOW I KNOW WHY !

Did't know that "80% of PGD stock is in hands of institutions"!!
That explains a lot--but not the lackluster efforts of PGD to promote
thier stock-WHY ? there are only 4 million shares left on mkt !
Makes me wonder - Why are these stocks low?
If this keeps up they will get taken out cheap by a major, and those of us (and institutions) who bought in the $ 5.00+ will get screwed.

Also means that when & if instuitions see their $ 5-7 they will want
out- cause gold portfolios are not 'in' these days and only takeovers
like ARP will get serious attention. So $ 5-7 may be a cap!!!

I ,like you, am convinced that PGD is worth the $ 10-12 range.

The first and most important tipoff to me came on Oct 27/98 post
in by '108' (post # 4) in old PGD thread.
I was not even a member of SI then, a friend of mine who knew I had some stock gave a copy (then joined SI).

This '108' really seemed to know what he was talking about ( only made
two posts-same idea in PGD and MDN threads! Maybe a geologist?
Anyway heres' what struck me in that post.

I qoute: (talking about Sutton) " So far an outstanding 7,700,000
ounces has been defined but much more is expected by the South African metals industry" ---
"Is Tulawaka another Bulyanhulu?"---
"Some very informed people believe it is and are buying" !!!!

This stuck in the back of my mind and when the Tulawaka results came
out in the last few months my research showed me that they were much
richer than Sutton for the first 80 meters!

So if the geology is the same underneath and it should be ,then to me the whole Tulawaka is at least as good Bulyanhulu if not better!!!

This should all be confirmed by the reserves estimate coming out in the next few months. (....depending on what they "want" to tell us).

Hope we can get others to come out ( including '108') and share ideas and info about he above.

Just my opinion.....
