XYBR news, wearable computers hot...$4 5/8 starting to climb!

ybernaut(R) Wearable PC Debuts at Fashion Week

FAIRFAX, Va., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Xybernaut Corporation (NASDAQ:XYBR) today
announced that the Xybernaut Mobile (MA IV(TM)) wearable PC is the first PC ever worn at the
7th on Six Fashion Week. Premiering the worldwide Fall collections, the New York fashion week,
was the forum for the display of the MA IV as part of the Stephen Sprouse Fall Winter 1999/2000
collection, held on February 17th for rock stars and the international fashion elite.

Stephen Sprouse is known for infusing high fashion with an aura of street, a techno-urban style with
the use of brilliantly bright colors and close to the body silhouettes in futuristic fabrics. He is credited
as having the exclusive rights to the entire catalog of Andy Warhol's images for use in men's and
women's apparel and footwear announced in 1996 by Sprouse and The Andy Warhol Foundation
for the Visual Arts. Sprouse has also designed for rock stars such as Axl Rose and Steven Tyler of
Aerosmith. This season the Stephen Sprouse Collection looked to Mars with prints featuring images
from the NASA expedition of Mars accented by the new millenium-styled Xybernaut MA IV
body-worn PC, flat panel and head-piece.

After the show, Stephen Sprouse commented, "I had no idea that the computer industry has
advanced to the point that people can be wearing computers. This technology is so cool. I am
delighted to have been given the opportunity to show off the MA IV in coordination with my
collection aimed for the year 2000. It added an extra element of excitement to the show and was
designed to make the audience think beyond clothes into the new millennium."

John Talamini, Creative Director for Ready-To-Hear Magazine, an interactive music fashion and
print magazine that highlights the music used on the catwalks of the world's top designers and
profiles cutting edge fashion, said, "For the first time in ten years, the International Fashion
Collection opened in NY. We were delighted to have had the opportunity to feature Xybernaut's
wearable PC on the cover of our premier premiere issue of Ready-To-Hear Magazine in
November 1998, introducing Xybernaut's cutting edge technology to the fashion design community.
Xybernaut was a perfect match with Stephen Sprouse's collection, incorporating photographic
images of NASA's 1997 Mars Expedition. The combination of Xybernaut's wearable computers
and Sprouse's futuristic designs, gave an inkling of what the future holds."

Ed Newman, President and CEO, Xybernaut Corporation added, "Showcasing the Mobile
Assistant during Stephen Sprouse's show represents the convergence of fashion, art and technology.
There was a clear excitement in the air as the models introduced our wearable PCs on Stephen's
NASA inspired designs. We look forward to the continued evolution of computers in the
mainstream."

The MA IV began shipping to customers in December 1998. It consists of a belt-worn computer, if
color VGA head-mounted display suspended in front of either eye with microphone and earphone,
an optional wrist-mounted flat panel touch screen color display or keyboard, a battery pack, and
integrated voice-recognition software. Xybernaut's current customers include leading Fortune 500
companies and government organizations for many mobile knowledge delivery system applications
including maintenance and repair, diagnosis, inspection, inventory control, manufacturing and data
collection. With pricing below $5,000 the market for wearable PCs is now attractive to
organizations for applications where computers have never been used before.
