" The FDA did not find Cenestin equivalent to Premarin and limited the approval to treating menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. Unlike Premarin, Cenestin won't be approved for long- term use, including the treatment of osteoporosis, and pharmacists won't be able to replace Premarin with Cenestin.
