Just when do you think super rich elitists weren't running things? Back in the time of Carnegie? Maybe the time of Caeser? Rich people always run things- even in communist countries the elite rich rule things, people just pretend they don't have rich elitists in those countries (read those stories about the Russian banks sneaking their hard assets through the Caymans, and corruption in the Kremlin? ). Stupid people, ignorant people will almost always lose their cash to clever educated people- we are not all born equal- just as some of us are talented at music or sports, others are born with the predispositions for amassing capital- in ANY system you have people doing this.

As for anti- Christians I've HEARD a lot about them but I have not seen a lot of them. Almost everyone I know belongs to a Christian church- it might not be a Bible thumpin', Halleluja, antichrist totin', church of the imminent rapture Christian church- but they call themselves Christians. Now how you can feel persecuted when you have yourself the majority religion beats the holy hell out of me.

I will answer you since you have apologized. The most efficient way to end any discussion with me is to call me names. The best way to know who I am is to discover what I do and what I think, and these you can discern from my posts.

I will tell you this: in a couple of hours I will go to the local literacy center to help adults learn to read. I have been doing this for the past 4 years. I will be tutoring a 35 year old woman who never learned to read because her parents never stayed in one place long enough for her to attend school regularly. She is a very religious woman, and so we are using the Bible for her text. She is quite fond of John. It might surprise you to learn, however, that I am not a Christian. I strongly believe that we define who we are by the way we act towards others. And those acts define our self-worth. Helping this woman learn to read helps me define who I am.

I believe in the brotherhood and unity of people, but I am also an elitist. The difference is that I believe that disadvantaged people ought to have the chance to join the elite (however defined).

If you are interested you will learn much more. If you are not interested you need only call me names.

TTFN,
CTC
