IFMX has produced growth for the last four sequential quarters. Why wouldn't that continue? The demand for Database products is going through the roof thanks to e-commerce. I see no signs or reasons for a reversal.

Zoro,

It is true that when ORCL sneezes all database
companies catch cold. But that may only be the way
to bet - not necessarily the whole story.

E.g., Dell, HP, etc. have been announcing slower
PC demand but MSFT differs. So, what's questionable
is appropriateness of Dell as a bellweather.

Likewise, in the DB business. We certainly passed
on ORCL (in favor of IFMX, MSFT) for technical and TCO
reasons. Oracle IMHO has a strong suit in marketing,
and a very large talent pool, but the pace of change
is higher now. To base the direction of the entire DB
industry on basis of ORCL would be a mistake.

I too picked up my leaps when it was 5-6 and will buy
more on oppty. It's value. Of course I am not a good
trader...

Technology-wise, new markets, and a chastised
mgmt team is a good combo. Then, it also doesn't hurt
if ORCL is battling for its life with MSFT.

Regards
Dinesh
