What you say sounds about right to me, ref MSFT price action post split, based on my memory as well.

This should be especially opportune time in that the institutional money and funds are in the market now making everything look nice and pretty for their reports. Having MSFT in the portfolio even if they only bought during the last couple weeks of March makes them look smart.

Up about 7 1/2 on the day at this point, how sweet it is.
