SE-- Levels like 850 and 855 are very important level, quote.yahoo.com^BKX&d=1d You can see the advantage of BKX as a indicator, if you would have shorted at 850, you would be whipsawed on SPM, so a little co-relation always help as it is indicative of more of pits manipulation than actual selling of equities where you may see futures trading at a discount to cash, in such a case the cash will either drop or Futures will take off. However I have noticed that these indices help a lot but you need to keep changing them since yesterday it was DTX and DOT which gave an early indication of a big upside in composite.
