Against Geotel and Genesys as well. these other companies are fine outfits but not at level of aspt.

I keep buying as well. The market is wrong. Look, I sold call center PBX's for 15 years (NT) and the people I sold it to did not understand what was being sold. It's an intangible. Wall street has no clue.

Call control is root to controlling the call center. they have the call control.

John,

<<I'm becoming a one stock guy but these prices are too compelling.>>

Yeah, I'm often in the same position (not this time with ASPT, though - I'm heavily in NDB and OMKT and ASPT).

I got a chuckle out of a post I once read:

"Diversification is for sissies!"

I like that one -- Besides I hate platitudes. If you have a solid understanding of what you're investing in, lack of diversification can be a good thing in short term plays. Over the long haul, you have less control over circumstance and diversification is prudent.

<When the shorts are forced to cover, as they will be soon since many will want to be out before the 4/14 conference call, the move on the upside will be exaggerated. >>

Yes, it is interesting to note that the March short interest for NASDAQ stocks is just out:

ASPT
3/99 1.468M shares
2/99 1.868M shares

I was quite surprised to see shorts still hanging on at these bargain basement prices. They should know that marginal percentage gains (for a short position) from here downward are EXTREMELY hard to attain. Their short shares represent latent buying power.

John, what is your expectation of ASPT earnings? Meet estimates or surprise? Remember what they did last qtr. They warned and then came in on the low end of estimates with a bleak forward statement. Hopefully this time their "forward looking" statements will be more indicative of excellent progress in reshaping ASPT into a SW co.

Comments anyone?
