Hi Dave et all,

I think the devils in the financial details:

I would like to know:

A) How much did Ericy pay for the Infrastructure division?
B) What are the Ericy IPRs that QCOM shall use? To what end?
And may be what are the royalties it shall pay? (May never get this one answered)
C) What are the royalties predictions from a global CDMA standard?
D) Where is the extra money from Ericy going, i.e. what does QCOM start next/beef up?(ASICS/PHONES/WK/DigiCinema/New project)
E) What is the immediate impact on the QCOM earnings? Given that they sold a losing division, what is now their new earnings?(This is bound to effect short term stock price)

With all these different angles at play, it is very difficult to ascertain the total benefit of the deal for QCOM. I am going to give the benefit of the doubt to QCOM management and assume that they have gotten the best deal that was possible for QCOM.

Waiting for the details...
