Sit on your hands. Remember what happens when your fingers get itchy? If you lived nearby I'd help you out and sit on your hands. Maybe Arthur Pritchard will sit on your hands and you can sit on his.

Freeus- You've been around Dell enough to know that Dell is going to do it's own thing here (if the market is trending up, flat, or slightly lower)...The only way the overall market is going to influence Dell, IMO, leading into earnings is if the market tanks...then Dell will struggle too...

The main driver as we get into April and early May will be the truth about what really happened in the PC industry this quarter. The fear game is about over...The returns are going to come in.

Also, Dell and Compaq have some big promo opportunities in April...they can put a shiny face on things (regardless of results).
This should generate some good press...

Finally, in April/May...the market will start to look beyond this quarter, and make a (further) decision about 2nd Q and the rest of the year...that could yield even more (possibly different) news.

At the least, I hope we hear the end of the daily stories about 1Q PC demand...since I have been following the PC market, I can't recall EVER seeing such hype, fear, analysts chest-thumping, CNBC reports on the industry...it has been unreal...
