P, count me in for another 1K @ 8 13/16. (The truck's becoming very very full <ggg>). I have it on very good authority that Conexant's CNXT (Rockwell spinoff) HDSL modem chip (8970/73) is experiencing phenomenal demand. To the extent that they cannot satisfy it.

This is not the chip that PAIR receives licensing and royalty fees on, as that would be Pairgain's DMT ADSL Falcon chip, conexant.com

...however, it does indicate that HDSL is very much alive and well (PAIR holds 57% market share) and experiencing extremely strong demand from the equipment vendors! Also, that PAIR is in bed with the preeminent modem chip supplier.

It's only a matter of time till this baby pops!
