As one that follows Intel closely and heeds what they've said on several occasions about Q1, I don't know that PC sales, particularly the higher end PCs, are slowing that much, if at all. Intel is the common denominator, and they keep saying their Q1 is right on target. Intel earnings will be out April 13 after the bell. I'll look for revenues, gross margins, as well as bottom line, before I conclude anything. Of course, if the market were right today, judging by Intel's and the boxmakers stock prices, you'd think things were bad. IBM dropping their little t*rd in the punchbowl about their losses on PCs didn't help at all.
